Well, we dodged another snow bullet over the weekend. And if the weatherman is accurate then we will be getting some rain on Wednesday. This is exactly what we need to get rid of those snow piles that take away the far too scarce parking spaces on streets like Chestnut Street or Mt. Vernon Street.
More importantly, we need these balmy temperatures so that the early street sweeping that starts this Friday will be useful.
Every year, the trash that is buried in snowbanks is just unbelieveable.
And this year will be no exception.
The early street sweeping will start getting rid of not only this trash but the sand that was used during the winter months on the streets.
We encourage our readers to heed the street cleaning signs and remembers that street sweeping starts this Friday.
Let’s make Beacon Hill sparkle.
