INCIDENTS
Assault and Battery
07/03/12 – At about 9:15 a.m., a victim walked into the front desk of District C-11 headquarters to file a report alleging that she went to meet a co-worker at 11 Commonwealth Ave. at around 8 p.m. the previous day regarding an outstanding debt to her.
At this time, the victim and the male suspect discussed small items of the victim’s currently in the suspect’s possession and how the victim could retrieve them. The victim said she then asked the suspect about $800 he allegedly owed the victim, at which time the suspect began yelling at the victim while pushing and shaking her. The suspect also began kicking the victim, she said.
The victim said she then returned to her motor vehicle and left the scene.
The victim alleged that the suspect was upset with her because she didn’t want to date him.
Drugs – Possession of a Class B Substance – Cocaine, etc.
07/03/13 – At about 9:03 p.m., police responded to a radio call to assist other officers with an arrest.
On arrival, responding officers were informed by police on the scene that a Acura SUV was observed turning right onto Beacon Street while traveling the wrong way down Berkeley Street. Police on the scene ordered the vehicle to stop after deeming it a threat to officers, as well as to the United Command Center, located at 118 Beacon St. Officers then conducted a search of the driver, passenger and the vehicle.
Police recovered one plastic bag of white powder and one plastic bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana from the vehicle’s center console. The apparent drugs were seized and placed in the police’s drug safe.
The motor vehicle was towed for safekeeping, and police issued a citation to the driver for a one-way street violation.
The passengers were released, and the driver was placed under arrest and transported to District 4 headquarters for booking.
