Cast and crew were on location at West Cedar and Acorn streets and Joy and Myrtle streets on Friday night filming the pilot for the ABC Family production of “Chasing Life,” which is slated to air in 2014. According to the network’s Web site at www.abcfamily.com, the series stars Italia Ricci as a young and aspiring Boston journalist who is diagnosed with a terminal illness.
