Tonight, the Beacon Hill Women’s Forum (BHWF) presents “Women and Wine,” featuring Nancy Parker Wilson of Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Ms. Wilson is an owner of the family business and manages its day-to-day operations. Along with a history of Greendale, she will share a slide show of her beautiful estate; and will speak about how she and her husband and parents developed the vineyard over the past twenty-three years. Ms. Wilson lives part of the year in Boston and serves on the boards of local preservation groups, libraries, museums, and business promotion organizations in both Boston and Newport.
The event takes place at the Hampshire House, 84 Beacon Street. Doors open at 6 pm for socializing; the talk begins promptly at 7 pm. Reservations are required. For more information, visit www.beaconhillwomensforum.com. BHWF is a non-profit social organization for women of all ages who live in Beacon Hill and its environs; all are welcome to join. This event does not include a tasting of the wines produced at Greenvale Vineyards, though BHWF is planning a “Trip and Sip” visit to its tasting room in next spring, including a jazz concert.
