Larceny
01/03/16 – At around 4:27 p.m., a victim reported that she ate lunch at a Myrtle Street restaurant and left her purse behind. When she returned to retrieve the handbag, property was stolen from it. The manager said he would retrieve video footage to assist Area A-1 detectives.
Shoplifting
01/04/16 – At approximately 9:02 p.m., police responded to a Myrtle Street store for a reported shoplifter. On arrival, officers spoke to the clerk, who stated the male suspect came into the store only wearing a T-shirt and a towel around his waist. The suspect stole a power drink and candy fled on foot dropping the towel and exposing himself. A check of the area for the suspect was to no avail.
