The adidas Boost Boston Games held the city’s first-ever ‘Street Meet’ in the Beacon Hill neighborhood Saturday. In the photo above, world-class athletes compete in the hurdles event on a Mondo track that was constructed on historic Charles Street between the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common. Thousands of spectators also enjoyed other track and field events that were part of a two-day festival. The ‘Street Meet’ was broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network.
