Boston police will be on hand next week for a “town meeting” to discuss homelessness sponsored by the Beacon Hill Civic Association.

Captain Kenneth Fong of Boston Police Area A-1 and Kerri Wells, the district’s community service officer, will join Paula O’Keeffe, chair of the Civic Association’s Safety Committee, at 74 Joy St. on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m.

“The Civic Association is responding to the neighborhood’s concerns about homelessness on the Cambridge Street side of Beacon Hill,” O’Keeffe said. “We hope neighbors interested in this problem will come to the meeting.”
