Victim Arrested for Skateboard Attack that Led to Double-Stabbing in Common

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s double stabbing on the Boston Common, three individuals were arrested but later exonerated while one of the stabbing victims was later charged with a skateboard attack that led to the bloodshed, according to Boston Police.

George Moustakis, 30, of Danvers was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly hitting another individual with his skateboard after he engaged in a fight with a group of people at around 6:30 p.m. Moustakis, who suffered minor injuries is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 27. Three others were reportedly arrested but later released for the fight at the Park Street MBTA station as they attempted to flee from the location in a Red Line train, but not the knife attack, while the man who stabbed Moustakis and another man remains at large.
