Larceny – Shoplifting

10/31/17 – A Boylston Street boutique reported an unknown male suspect stole a light-blue scarf at about 5 p.m. The clerk stated that the suspect entered the store with a large black backpack and wandered around the store, picking up items. When the suspect was out of sight, he placed the scarf in the backpack and fled on foot, the clerk said.

Larceny from a Building

11/02/17 – A Boylston Street hotel reported a larceny at about 10:05 a.m. The director of security stated an ex-employee was observed on several occasions on video opening the locked, public, safety-deposit boxes and removing U.S. currency Detectives will follow up on the matter.
