Larceny from Motor Vehicle – Unlawful Possession of a Dangerous Weapon

02/20/18 – At about 3:05 a.m., officers responded to a witness calling 911 who observed a male suspect breaking into a motor vehicle on Mt. Vernon Place.

On arrival, police found the suspect lying across the front seat of a Honda CRV. The suspect was placed under arrest after he was found to have in his coat, two rings and a pair of sunglasses, which are property of the driver of the Honda. The suspect also was had a stungun inside a black case in his possession.

The owner of the Honda was contacted and arrived on the scene.

The suspect was charged with larceny from a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon.
