MassDOT will close a single lane on the inbound roadway of the Longfellow Bridge overnight through Friday, August 10, from 9:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The lane closures are to allow the contractor to complete assorted tasks in preparation for substantial completion. The inbound roadway consists of two lanes and one lane will be maintained for travel at all times.
Storrow Drive East & Westbound Lane Closures
MassDOT will implement overnight lane closures on Storrow Drive east and westbound in the vicinity of the Longfellow Bridge through Friday, August 10. Single lane closures will begin at 9:00 PM and double lane closures will be from 11:00 p.m. each night to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The roadway in this area consists of three lanes in each direction. A minimum of one lane will be maintained for travel at all times. WSC will make every effort to minimize noise and traffic impacts during the overnight work hours.
