A new restaurant and bar is slated to take over the space currently occupied by Scollay Square at 21 Beacon St. in the coming months.

Andy Kilgore, owner and operator of the future establishment called Emory and a former, longtime employee of No. 9 Park, said the new restaurant would offer an “approachable sensibility.”

“We don’t want to be just a burger and wings joint, but instead provide proper food in the neighborhood.”
