The Cambridge Trust Company at 65 Beacon St. was robbed by a masked gunman twice in the past month, police said.

On June 2 at about 5 p.m., a male suspect, dressed in a mask and jumpsuit, entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on Beacon Street in the direction of the State House with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.

On May 14 at around 9:45 a.m., an approximately 5-foot 9-inch male suspect, wearing a ski mask, entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect fled in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

Damon Katz, chief division counsel of the Boston FBI, said the robberies were currently under investigation jointly by the agency’s Violent Crimes Task Force and Boston Police.

“At this time, no arrest have been made,” Katz told the Times Thursday. “We’re not releasing any additional information because we want to protect the integrity of the investigation.”

Katz urged anyone who saw the robberies or suspect(s) to contact the FBI at 617-742-5533.
