Larceny/Shoplifting

01/17/12 – A Charles Street liquor-store manager reported observing a known male suspect placing a bottle of vodka down his pants before leaving the store at around 9:30 p.m. Detectives were scheduled to review surveillance-camera footage.

Breaking and Entering – Residence

01/20/12 – A Myrtle Street resident reported that the front door of her apartment was forced open and I-phone, sunglasses, two laptops, bank cards, an iPad and ski clothing were removed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

01/20/12 – A Mt. Vernon Street resident reported no sign of forced entry to his apartment, but an iPad, camera, watch and bank card were removed between 8 a.m. on Jan. 19 and 7:30 a.m. the following day.

01/20/12 – A Mt. Vernon Street resident reported his apartment had no sign of forced entry, but numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen from the residence between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
