The full weekend of rain – at times torrential rain – is being followed by steady rain at the beginning of the week and expected as well to linger into the week.
Monday was a gray, rainy day.
The roads appeared gray. The sky appeared gray. The entire world we awakened to appeared covered by a drab, undifferentiated patina of wetness and dense gray.
The lack of snow this past winter seems to be overcompensated for by the recent rain.
What we all want is the feeling that summer is upon us.
June, July and August are all we have.
Each one of these drab and dreary rain days is one less we can look forward to.
