On Tuesday Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., the West End Museum,(WEM) located at 150 Staniford St., Suite 7, will host its new honoree for this year’s Italian Heritage Month: Judge Domenic J.F. Russo, the retired First Justice of the East Boston division of the District Court.
Each year, the museum recognizes and honors current and former West Enders of Italian heritage who have contributed to preserving the culture of the West End and its rich immigrant history.
“Judge Russo always has a calming story to tell at board meetings,” said Duane Lucia of the museum. “His wisdom, advice and guidance have been invaluable to the success of the West End Museum.”
There is no charge for this event and refreshments will be served.
