The Beacon Hill Civic Association (BHCA) has received information from the city concerning changes to the current trash collection schedule. Effective July 1, trash and recycling will be collected by Sunrise Scavengers, replacing the current Capitol Waste Management. A second day of recycling will be added to the schedule with both trash and recycling being picked up on Mondays and Fridays. The new contract removes the Wednesday trash collection from the schedule.

Once the BHCA receives more information, the group will be working with the city and the neighborhood to make a smooth adjustment to the new schedule and new contractor.
