Through Friday Feb. 6, the Storrow Drive eastbound offramp for the Fenway, Boylston Street, and the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, across the Bowker Overpass will be closed on an as-needed basis between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The closure will be daily through Friday, Feb. 6; on Saturday, Feb. 7, the closure will be in effect between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. The closure is required for ongoing bridge deck reconstruction.
Associated lane restrictions will also be in effect on Beacon Street and Commonwealth Avenue in both directions under the bridge on an as-needed basis during these times.
The lane restrictions are part of a $12.3 million project to make steel repairs and replace the bridge deck on the Bowker Overpass. The project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2016.
