This Sunday, June 7th from 12-6pm is the Beacon Hill Art Walk in which local artists are able to exhibit and sell original, one-of-a-kind art from picturesque settings throughout the streets, secluded gardens, and alleyways of this historic neighborhood. Since 1990 this free public art fair has enlivened the neighborhood with paintings, collages, sculptures, drawings and photography along with performances by some of the city’s most talented classical musicians. Approximately 100 artists will participate in this annual event including mixed-media artist Jessica Burko (http://jessicaburko.com/), “This will be my 6th year participating, and it is definitely one of my favorite annual art events.” Burko will be showing at the foot of Primus Avenue which is a private stone staircase leading up the hill itself, and is adorned with lush landscaping and on Sunday will be dotted with artists leading to its plateau. Visitors to the event will enjoy a festive atmosphere bursting with color, energy, and music and are encouraged to explore as they experience the art and ambiance.
