10th Anniversary

The Friends of Teddy Ebersol’s Red Sox Fields (TERSF)   recently got  together with representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation to celebrate TERSF’s 10th Anniversary and to say  ‘Thank You’ to leaders from the  Commonwealth and Newman Schools, whose generous support made possible  the acquisition of a state-of-the-art field sweeper. The new machine helps DCR remove goose waste and other debris, leaving a healthier environment for all park users. Showing off the new machine are  (L to R): Bill Wharton, Headmaster, Commonwealth School; Gena Borson, Executive Director, Red Sox Foundation; Matt Sisk, DCR Deputy Commissioner; Jeff White,Treasurer, Red Sox Foundation; Lauren Hoops-Schmieg, Executive Director, Hill House; Ed Fleck, Director, Hill House; Angelo Tilas, Regional Supervisor, DCR; and  Andrew Nagy, Dean of Students, Newman School. Missing are  Harry Lynch, Headmaster, Newman School and  TK Ankner , Director, Esplanade Association.
