Annie Caroline Flaherty 

She leaves this world a brighter place

Annie Caroline Flaherty of Beacon Hill died on on August 8. She was 7 years old.

Annie had a zest for life like no other.  She will be missed by her friends near and far and most importantly those at the Eliot School.  She loved gymnastics, swimming, skating, skiing and movie night at the Hill House.  She appreciated city living and all it’s offerings; parks, theatre, dining out and being a member of St Cecilia parish.  Annie will be remembered for her smile, kindness, moxie and courage.  She had a profound impact on many and left this world a brighter place.

She was the beloved daughter of Patricia “Tricia” Flaherty; loving granddaughter of the late Joseph and Ann Flaherty; cherished niece of Joseph Flaherty and his wife, Tracey of Beacon Hill, and Mary Rosenberger and her husband, Michael of North Andover and the dear cousin of Hannah Rosenberger, Owen Rosenberger, Liam Flaherty and Erin Flaherty.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere St., Boston on Wednesday at 11 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to: MGH Pediatric Oncology Dept., c/o Dr. Howard Weinstein, 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114.  For online condolences and/or directions, please visit:www.bostonharborsidehome.com
