Larceny/Shoplifting

11/10/17 – At about 10:28 a.m., a male suspect was arrested for larceny/shoplifting and trespassing. A Charles Street sporting-goods store employee chased down the suspect when he fled on foot after stealing three vests and three jackets from the store.

Auto Theft

11/12/17 – A Mt. Vernon Street resident reported his 2016 BMW X5 was stolen from the street some time between 10:20 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 8 a.m. the next day. On Nov. 12 at about 6 p.m., the parked vehicle was recovered on Beacon Street, and the Stolen Car Unit was notified.
