The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 103 has announced its endorsement of Josh Zakim for Massachusetts Secretary of State.
IBEW 103 represents over 8,000 workers and thousands more retirees across the Commonwealth. In their endorsement, IBEW Local 103 noted Zakim’s fresh perspective and dedicated service on Boston’s City Council.
“As the state’s top election official, it’s the Secretary of State’s job to make sure our government is accessible to Local 103 members and all workers across the Commonwealth,” said Lou Antonellis, business manager for IBEW Local 103. “Through his advocacy on the Boston City Council, Josh has proven to be an energetic leader who would offer bold, innovative ideas to the role.
