Bill Sherden, Curriculum Chair, and Mark Yessian, president, at the Church of the Advent on Sept. 10 for the Beacon Hill Seminars (BHS) 2018 Fall Kickoff. Participants learned about the 23 courses offered from October 1-November 20. At the event, educators briefly discussed the provocative seminars and lectures on topics such as historic preservation, American foreign policy, and Renaissance art to promote critical thinking among the over 200 members.
