Myrtle Street Playground was robbed just before Christmas. In an effort to raise funds to replace the playground toys and/or provide funds for summer programming, there will be a toy and book sale on Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hill House Gym at 127 Mt. Vernon St.
Donations are accepted in plastic bags at the playground Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Donations are accepted at the Hill House gym Friday night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. or Saturday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.
