According to the city’s unofficial election results, approximately 71 percent of Beacon Hill voters in Ward 3, Precinct 6 and Ward 5, Precincts 3, 4, 5 and 11 supported D’Alessandro while Lynch trailed at 29 percent.
In the West End (Ward 3, Precinct 5), D’Alessandro received around 58 percent of the votes as Lynch garnered 42 percent of the ballots cast.
In contrast, 68 percent of voters citywide supported Lynch, with 32 percent backing D’Alessandro.
