Public Meeting on New Plan for Government Ctr.Garage Set

The Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) is currently reviewing a proposal by HYM Investment Group to build a mixed use development on the site of the Government Center Garage. As currently proposed, the project will consist of the construction of six new buildings and the reuse of a portion of the existing parking garage for car and bicycles.  The buildings will provide residential housing in the form of apartments and condominiums, hotel rooms, offices and retail space.  The proposal also envisions a new public plaza and pedestrian promenade.

The Beacon Hill Civic Association will host a public meeting to enable residents to come and learn more about the project and to provide feedback to the developer.  The meeting will be held on Monday, June 24th at 6:30pm at 74 Joy Street. All are welcome.
