The Boston Fire Department is investigating the cause of a Beacon Hill fire Saturday night that sent one firefighter to the hospital and displaced five people.

The two-alarm fire began at 10 p.m. at 119 Charles St., a 4-story brick building. The first floor of the building was a clothing business while floors 2-3-4 each had an apartment.

The fire apparently began on the first floor and once firefighters arrived they reported heavy fire on the ceiling of the 1st floor clothing company.

The fire was quickly put out but not before causing $1 million in damages to the property.

One firefighter treated and transported by Boston EMS for chest pains to MassGeneral.

Red Cross was on the scene to assist but only two of the five people needed assistance.
