Thanks from the BHCA Young Friends
Dear Editor:
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the April 16th Third Thursday at Beacon Hill Pub. In only two hours, the BHCA Young Friends raised $277 in cash as donation for Christopher’s Haven, a local nonprofit which provides housing, amongst other things, to families staying in the Boston area while their child undergoes treatment for cancer. The Young Friends seek to bring residents and friends of Beacon Hill together in an effort to build community awareness and a more unified neighborhood through philanthropic work, neighborhood involvement, and to serve as an ambassador for its residents. The Young Friends would like to also extend a big thank you to Beacon Hill Pub and to the amazing bartender Carrie for helping motivate people to donate to this important cause.
