Fireside Chat Tonight with Neighborhood Physicans

By Kathy Hull

Tonight, November 10, the Beacon Hill Women’s Forum (BHWF) is offering “The Pinkney Street Prescription,” a panel discussion with three Beacon Hill women M.D.s. They are wives, mothers, and leaders in the Boston health care field and will discuss their specialties and share the everyday challenges of their professional and family lives.

Pediatrician Dr. Laura De Girolami will speak about allergies among children; surgeon and thyroid specialist Dr. Antonia Stephens will focus on women and thyroid issues; and Dr. Elizabeth Trehu, Chief Medical Officer of a local biotech company, will discuss her experiences in the field of clinical research.

The event will be held at the Hampshire House, 84 Beacon Street. Doors open at 6 pm for neighborly networking, appetizers, and a cash bar. The physicians’ “fireside chat” begins promptly at 7 pm.  Reservations are required. To attend as a newcomer, go to www.beaconhillwomensforum.org for detailed information on membership, fees, and future events. BHWF is a non-profit organization created to help connect the diverse women who live in Beacon Hill and its surrounding neighborhoods for casual gatherings, inspiration, and enjoyment in community.
