State Rep. Jay Livingstone and his wife Julie welcomed their firstborn child at Massachusetts General Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 7:45 a.m.
The couple’s son, Henry James Livingstone, weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches.
“I’m so excited with the newest addition to our family,” said Livingstone, who is currently a candidate for the First Suffolk and Middlesex District senate seat. “The next few weeks will be tough, between balancing campaigning and home life, but luckily, Julie and I have a lot of family and friends who’ve been incredibly supportive.”
The special election for the First Suffolk and Middlesex District senate seat will be held on Tuesday, April 12.
