Esplanade Association and DCR to Unveil New Welcome Signs

After several years of work with its partners at the Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Esplanade Association is improving the visitor experience with new Welcome Signs.

The signs are being installed at six park entrances, including: Arlington Street/Fiedler Footbridge, Dartmouth Street, Fairfield Street, Massachusetts Avenue, Silber Way, and Boston University. They will provide visitors with a map and information on the park.

To mark the launch of this new signage initiative, DCR Commissioner Leo Roy is joining the Esplanade Association for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Fiedler Footbridge on Friday, June 1, at 12:30 p.m. R.S.V.P. to [email protected].

This project was funded by contributions from Esplanade Association members, the George B. Henderson Foundation, the Lynch Foundation, and the Museum of Science. ‌ ‌ ‌
