A victim was robbed at knifepoint Wednesday night outside 7-Eleven at 66 Charles St., police said.
At around 11:30 p.m., Area A-1 officers responded to the area of the convenience store for an armed-robbery report. On arrival, police spoke with a male victim, who stated he had parked his car on Chestnut Street and was walking towards Charles Street when two male suspects with “very large knives” approached him and pushed him against a parked car.
The suspects demanded the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The victim obliged, also giving up his house and car keys. The suspects then fled on foot down Chestnut Street in the direction of Storrow Drive. The victim wasn’t injured in the incident.
Police searched the area for the suspects to no avail. They are described as a 5-foot 9-inch, 175-pound African-American man, wearing an orange jacket, and a stocky 6-foot African-American male, weighing approximately 225 pounds and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
