Beacon Hill resident Alli Achtmeyer was recently elected as a member of the New England regional board for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, which raises funds, educate and advocate on behalf of the organization in the region.
A native of Southern California, Achtmeyer moved to Boston after receiving a B.S. in political science. Her interests in fashion, organization and design led her to develop a career as a party planner and caterer, eventually launching her own style consultancy, Style Alli LLC.
Mother of a 3-year-old and step mother to four, Achtmeyer lives with her husband and family on Beacon Hill. She sits on the board of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and is co-chairing the 2011 UNICEF Children’s Champion Award Dinner, honoring Trudie Styler and Sting. She is also currently at work on a coffee table book, showcasing style and entertaining.
