Blackstone’s of Beacon Hill (46 Charles Street) celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year.  Each month from now through December will include a different event or promotion.  “For August we have chosen to celebrate with one of our oldest vendors, Vera Bradley, who also celebrates their thirtieth anniversary in August,” says Jennifer Hill co-owner of Blackstone’s.  “To mark Vera Bradley’s anniversary we will be celebrating for three days with specials and savings throughout our Vera Bradley collection.  Our celebration will conclude on Thursday, August 9th from 5 to 7pm with additional specials, drawings, gifts with purchase and refreshments.”

“Not many organizations in this day and age can claim to have been in business for 30 years,” says Mark Duffield, co-owner of Blackstone’s.  “Stores like Blackstone’s must choose quality products to thrive. Manufacturers must choose quality retailers to thrive. That Blackstone’s and Vera Bradley formed a partnership 20 years ago is as good a reason as I can think of that both today can celebrate 30 years of success.”
