Projects at 3 Charles River Sq, 87 Chestnut St, and 106 Cambridge St are slated to come before the BHCA’s Zoning & Licensing Committee Wednesday, April 10. The committee postponed their initial meeting, April 3 and will now meet tomorrow at 7:30pm at 74 Joy Street.
The first applicant/owner of 3 Charles River Square proposes to heighten the basement ceiling to create additional living space requiring an FAR variance. While the next applicant/owner of 87 Chestnut, which is being combined with 58 Brimmer St into a single family unit, requires Ground Water Overlay District Applicability.
The applicant/tenant at 106 Cambridge Street proposes to transfer the take out permit (36A use), from 106-120 Cambridge Street, Yummy Express, to the new owner. The 455 square foot space with 16 seats has a limited customer area thus it is vital due to this configuration that this permit is granted for the success of the business.
Neighbors are encouraged to attend the meeting. If you are unable to attend but would like to express an opinion, please call (617.227.1922) or send an email to the BHCA office ([email protected]) prior to the meeting. Additional information can be found on the BHCA website www.bhcivic.org
