Boston Police have released new photos of a man they think is responsible for the last sexual assault in Beacon Hill and could be connected to other similar assaults that have been occurring in the neighborhood since the spring.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect wanted for the most recent assault in the neighborhood (see photo).
At about 6:15 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2013, officers from District A-1 responded to a radio call for an indecent assault and battery in the area of Beacon Hill.
The victim said she was walking toward the Charles/ MGH MBTA station on Brimmer St when she was approached by a suspect who was walking in the opposite direction. The suspect indecently assaulted the victim and fled up Chestnut Street toward Charles Street.
The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20’s, 5’10″ in height, 160-170 lbs, slim to medium build, dark brown shaggy hair, parted in the middle, no facial hair, clear skin with olive complexion, wearing a dark blue polo shirt with red polo logo, medium straight leg jeans and dark color sneakers.
Police investigators continue to investigate a series of similar assaults that took place in May. While, investigators continue to look into the possibility that the assaults could be connected due to similar physical description, no definitive connection has been established at this point.
