Maybe we are just getting old.
Or maybe we are just too busy.
But we are left wondering where did the holiday season go. No sooner had it started than it seemed to have ended.
One reason was that Thanksgiving came late this year.
Just remember that two weeks ago it was Christmas Eve day.
What brings this to mind was the hundreds of volunteers who helped decorate the lamp posts with bows and holly in early December. Their efforts added to the Christmas cheer.
On Sunday, many of the same voluteers went up the ladders again only this time in the snow to take down these decorations.
In the picture to the right is just one of the hundreds of bags that were filled by these voluneers on Sunday morning.
We thank all the volunteers and the Beacon Hill Civic Association for their efforts in this yearly neighborhood event.
