On Friday, April 4, from noon to 3 p.m., many Charles Street stores will celebrate the Boston Red Sox home opener with an opening celebration of their own. Stores will offer food, fun and springtime promotions.
“It’s been a long winter for all of us in our community. Spring heralds renewal with warmer weather, budding flowers, and higher spirits, and of course Baseball at Fenway Park. If we can’t attend opening day at Fenway, we can bring a taste of the ballpark to Charles Street. I think we all deserve a welcome break from the long, cold winter,” said Rebecca Penner-Hall of Crush Boutique, who serves as president of the Beacon Hill Business Association.
From first to second to third to home and around the bases of Charles Street, friends and neighbors will be treated to a smorgasbord of ballpark goodies and storewide promotions.
