The Hill House family and Greater Boston community celebrated Majors Baseball League’s Opening Day at the Boston Common Little League Fields on Monday, April 28.
The guest list included the Red Sox Foundation, Friends of the Public Garden and TD Bank.
“The Friends is delighted to support Hill House’s work to improve ball fields on Boston Common,” said Elizabeth Vizza, executive director of the Friends of the Public Garden. “The project complements the Friends mission to protect and enhance this historic park, along with the Public Garden and Commonwealth Avenue Mall. It is wonderful to see how these changes will elevate the park experience, especially for ball players and their fans.”
Last year, Hill House raised over $50,000 to improve the baseball and softball fields in the Boston Common, thanks to the incredible generosity of its families and community partners in the downtown neighborhoods.
