Life-long friends Katie Hayward and Alex Fissler have returned from a thrilling month in Tanzania, Africa where they climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro (where, as you can see, it is winter) and volunteered at a school in a Maasai village. They are now busy at their summer jobs, Katie as a counselor at Camp Harbor View on Long Island in Boston Harbor and Alex as a sales associate at Crush Boutique on Charles Street. Their parents, Anne and Bill Hayward and Ann and Tom Fissler are thrilled that their daughters are safely back in “The Zip Code”. In the fall Katie will start her senior year at Boston College and Alex her sophomore year at Syracuse University.”
