During the week of January 19 the Storrow Drive Eastbound off ramp to Bowker overpass daily will be closed (as needed) to continue the Stage II deck reconstruction. The closure will take place from the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m through Friday, January 23, 2015. On Saturday, January 24, 2015, the Storrow Drive Eastbound off ramp to Bowker overpass ramp closure will be from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for continued bridge work.
Associated lane restrictions will also be in effect on Beacon Street and Commonwealth Avenue in both directions under the bridge on an as-needed basis during these times.
The lane restrictions are part of a $12.3 million project to make steel repairs and replace the bridge deck on the Bowker Overpass. The project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2016.
