With the air growing crisp and the days shortening, thoughts are turning to one of the neighborhood’s most pleasant cold weather events, the Beacon Hill Gala that annually brings scores of neighbors together for an evening of dining and dancing.
In conjunction with its annual a
ppeal, the annual Gala is the major fundraiser for the Beacon Hill Civic Association, which has worked for 93 years to preserve the neighborhood’s historic nature and enhance its quality of life. The popular event takes place Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The Gala committee chairs are Kimberlea Jeffries of Brimmer Street, Sandra Massey of Mt. Vernon Street and Deb Hanley of Chestnut Street. Grogan & Company, who is a sponsor of the Gala, has donated use of their gallery space for meetings as well as the design and marketing skills of Gallery Manager Georgina Winthrop.
