Babak Bina, owner of Beacon Hill restaurants Lala Rokh and BIN 26, has an entertaining way for residents to prepare in the hours leading up to the Presidential Debate.
Bina invites people to attend a pre-debate gathering “in the neutral zone” at Lala Rokh, 97 Mount Vernon St., on Monday, Sept. 26. Guests can enjoy cocktails at the bar, accompanied by complimentary hors d’oeuvres and snacks. The gathering will begin at 5 p.m. leading up to the debate that will get underway at 9 p.m.
Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will meet in the first Presidential Debate on Monday. Tens of millions of voters across the country are expected to tune in to the first of three debates. NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt will moderate the debate.
Lala Rokh is celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year.
“We want Republicans, Democrats, Independents – all voters – to come to the restaurant on Monday,” said Bina. “Everyone is welcomed to join us and to stay and watch the debate.”
