Russell Museum Lecture: Deliberate Practice: What Musicians, Athletes And Others Can Teach Us About Expertise

The Paul S. Russell, MD Museum of Medical History and Innovation at Massachusetts General Hospital invites you to its next hybrid lecture “Deliberate Practice: What Musicians, Athletes and Others Can Teach Us About Expertise.” Keith Baker, MD, PhD, HMS Professor of Clinical Anesthesia, will present on Tuesday, November 10, from 6-7 PM in person at 2 North Grove Street or on Zoom.

Anesthesiologist and educator Keith Baker has spent decades compiling research about how health care professionals and others become experts. Whereas quantity of practice matters, so does quality, as Baker will explain, providing tips for clinicians–and the rest of us.
