Well, Councillor Josh Zakim’s office received calls last week from several Beacon Hill residents following our editorial about the possibility of a change in the street sweeping program — similar to the one in Charlestown.
All the residents who called were against any change.
We thank the residents who called to voice their opposition to any change in the street sweeping program on Beacon Hill.
According to Daniel Sibor of Zakim’s office, he noted that unless a majority of residents want to change the program, Zakim is against the program that Charlestown has adopted where there is no towing of cars, only a single $90 ticket.
