Humana is a national healthcare company focused on providing health solutions to seniors. Each year, Humana hosts Community Day, a dedicated day of service where Humana associates come together to give back to the communities in which they live and work. This event reflects Humana’s commitment to putting health and well-being first not just for their members but also their neighbors.
This year, Community Day expanded beyond the company’s corporate headquarters in Louisville, KY to include cities like Boston, giving local teams the opportunity to volunteer, connect, and make a meaningful impact.
Around 30 Humana associates from the Boston office came together for a day of giving back with Beacon Hill Village, a local nonprofit whose mission is to provide information and services, sponsor recreation and educational activities, and foster a strong sense of community so that older adults in central Boston neighborhoods can live their lives to the fullest independently in their own homes.
Beacon Hill Village members were very pleased to welcome help from these volunteers who assisted with collecting donations, gardening, organizing and tech help.
